As entity, Technology Park Split is an entrepreneurial-supporting infrastructure owned by the City of Split established with the aim of providing support for the development of entrepreneurship, with a special focus on activities in the field of high technologies. It is managed by Split Development Agency – RaST, providing services to support the start-up and growth of innovative entrepreneurship through incubation and acceleration programs.
The central building of Technology Park Split is located on the brownfield site of the former Dračevac barracks, and its reconstruction and extension was co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. With the revitalization of the Dračevac zone, the abandoned and unused building gets a new life and purpose through the conversion of space into entrepreneurial infrastructure capacities.
