Meetup “3D Visualisation and 3D Printing in Architecture and Education” held at Split Technology Park

On 9 October, Split Technology Park hosted a meetup entitled “3D Visualisation and 3D Printing in Architecture and Education”, organised in cooperation with the City of Split as part of the Split Technology Park Digital Academy programme.

The speaker, Silvio Puljić, an architect and teacher, used concrete examples from his own practice to present the application of 3D technologies in architecture and education. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the capabilities of 3D printers and additive technologies and to take part in an open discussion about their potential in everyday work and in the educational process.

The event brought together numerous participants interested in digital technologies, and in a relaxed atmosphere experiences were shared and new contacts were made.

Split Technology Park will run the Digital Academy programme as part of its development activities, with the aim of strengthening the digital skills of citizens, children and entrepreneurs. The programme is conceived as a platform for the development of a digital society and Smart City solutions, enabling citizens to take an active part in the digital transformation of Split.

Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship holders visit Split Technology Park

Split Technology Park hosted a group of scholarship holders of the German political foundation Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), who visited Split as part of their seminar initiative “Croatia 12 Years after EU Accession: Impacts and Perspectives in the Western Balkans”.

During the visit, accompanied by our team, the scholarship holders toured Split Technology Park and learned about the work of the 3D laboratory, where they had the opportunity to see concrete examples of how new technologies are applied in business.

Particular emphasis was placed on the role of Split Technology Park in strengthening the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, encouraging innovation and connecting domestic and international partners. The participants showed great interest in the way the Technology Park supports entrepreneurs and contributes to creating a modern, competitive and open community.

Meetings like this confirm the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange, and they gave the KAS scholarship holders the opportunity to learn first-hand about the development prospects of Split and the region.

Alongside the top-quality panels, particular emphasis was placed on networking, where participants exchanged ideas, connected and laid the foundations for future collaborations and projects.
